EMPLOYMENT TYPE: FULL-TIME AND/OR PART TIME 

LOCATION: SEMMES, AL  

 

DESCRIPTION

                        The ideal candidate should be someone who is assertive, organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter. To assist with office management for efficiency, greeting guest, answering telephones, data entry and filing. General assistance with sales and accounting team. Ability to adapt to changes in work volume and work load. You’re the face of the office and will be interacting with a variety of people every day!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Greeting guests, answering telephones, filing, communications with clients.

  • Preparing and processing all invoices 

  • Professionally handle customer sales calls and general inquiries

  • Sales order and purchase order entry

  • Keeping common areas neat and presentable

  • Purchasing and acquisition of office supplies, maintaining of inventory

  • Coordinating office needs for IT and Human Resources 

  • Distributing mail, coordinating office events, and running errands as needed.

  • Ability to compose professional and accurate emails and other business correspondence

  • Ability to work with little supervision; self-motivated; quick learner

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible

  • Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or accounting or equivalent experience welcomed but not required

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Requires 1+ years of customer service, administration or related experience.

  • Bookkeeping experience 

  • Billing experience

  • Strong computer knowledge and data entry skills

  • Proficiency of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • *Knowledge and experience with Sage Group Software is a Plus *

  • Ability to perform math functions representative of the job such as; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Handles difficulties with customers with diplomacy and seeks assistance when needed.​

PERFORMANCE REQUIRMENTS 

  • Vision: Must be able to read documents, use computers and see other materials necessary for the ongoing development and serving of clients.

  • Hearing/Talking: Must be able to hear and speak clearly.

  • Sitting/Walking: Must be able to sit in a seated position; moving about on foot to accomplish tasks.

  • Lifting/Repetitive Motions: Ability to lift office supplies.

  • Working Conditions and Environmental: Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
